Tried another ring & a wrap for Roy

This is one of those adjustable rings. I used copper & horn coral. Made LOTS of mistakes! I worked on it one night, wasn't happy, put it down & decided to see if I could at least fix some of the mistakes the next night. I can wear it, but I would never let anyone else wear it because there are just too many mistakes. Next one will be easier. The only thing I didn't like about following the pattern was the amount of wire that I ended cutting off that could amount to waste but I will find another way to use it. Pics show front, top, both sides & underneath.







Roy here is the first wrap. This is a real pretty tiger eye!

I got it down to where I don't need to waste so much wire, that was one of the things I did not like either.

You did good for your first ring. I cut my strands at 8 inches and when all is said and done I only need to trim off about 1/2 inch or less of wire depending on largest size of the adjustment

I think that ring looks great! And your wrapping style on that Tiger Eye is very nice.

yeah, I noticed that the instructions waste a lot of wire. I've been cutting mine at 10" and that seems plenty, only have a little left when I'm done. I to long shanks though, usually wrap to about 2-3/4". works out pretty well for me.
