This is the first or rather second successful (but better that the first) cab pendant I have made. I bought the 'stone' from off a guy that had a table set up in the local mall, and I have no idea what it might be. I'm working on another similar one, so I will see if I really have gained skill in shaping and polishing and wire work, or if I completely fluked this one. Attachments:

That is an awesome piece, nice job! As far as IDing the stone, I'm going to guess it's amazonite.

Wow, I really liked that. And that's saying something, I'm not normally a fan of mulit-stone wraps but this is really beautiful. Nice work Krista Oh, and I agree, Amazonite

Thank you very much everyone for the encouragement. I cut more of this stone but from a different face and it had kinda like a 'labradorite' quality to it, kinda....holographic . I don't know the word. So I was stumped and thank you for the ID too.

People call the shine labradorite has many different things ie: labradecence, chatoyance or chatoyant, iridescence, flash, having great fire, etc. Krista

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm still thinking it might have been a complete fluke.. Did I mention that the stone in the centre snapped completely in half, after I took it off the dop stick and rinsed it off, and was handing it to my husband? I'm wrapping another pendant just to see if it's me or luck, and at least neither one of these stones have cracked, and I was able to get a really nice polish on them, though I did notice one or two (ok two) flat spots.
