MA at its best all lit up, I think I would just sit and look at the many different pieces of Agate so nicely displayed the hours you put in must be enormus

I like your work and have a couple of questions. Are your slabs polished? if so how thick are they? What did you use for a fixture to work from? I started a project a couple years ago using thin iris agate slabs. I have not given up on the idea just on hold. Don

Thanx to everyone for the comments.
Don... The slabs are polished, they are approx. 1/8" thick. Some are a little thinner or thicker. Sometimes I will add a few tumbled stones if they have one side that is fairly flat which will lay against the mold. The mold is a fiberglass mold from Odyessy [Mosaic Shades] which are used for stained glass lamps.....Jim

That is beautiful. There was a man who used to make agate lamps but he has since passed away. I'm glad to see the art is not lost.
