Hi Everybody.

Some of you may remember the composite sphere I made a while back.

Well.... Recently I had tooooo much time on my hands.

I brought it to the Flagg show over the weekend to show it to some friends, I put it in Ralph's and Mary Ann's display case for people to view with no plans of selling it. But someone made me an offer I could not refuse, now I have to start over.

Wow, very cool. Although i am not sure if i like the sphere or the big stone rubix cube better. I would almost be tempted to square up a cube like that and polish it like that. Even the flat slabs of squares smoothed and polished would make really neat coasters. No matter what, it sure looks good to me. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. It's funny, you get so involved with the completion of the project that you fail to look at alternative endings. It would make really cool coasters or just polished up as a cube. When I start slabbing for the next attempt, I will cut lots of extra slabs to play around.

Using some striking contrast materials would make such spheres even more eye catching. Adrian
