NICE WORK JUDY! Before we moved to our current house and changed to a 'beach' design for the interior, we had all southwestern works all over the place. And being from Texas, I had a couple of Longhorn skulls, but nothing that nice. Really well done.

wow, that is really nice! I would think in addition to being a beautiful piece, should be worth a pretty penny.

thanks everyone!! Bill, I'm hoping it will bring a pretty penny...and I'm hoping to put it up for sale out of a shop in Scottsdale, Az ...so I might just get what I ask for it (fingers crossed) Fossilman...if you get the itch to do something like this with beads, just make sure the beads are all the same size!! I had a problem with that on this piece....uneven beads

We are always credited with patience in/on our work, but seeing your work here puts all that imn perspective. LOL
Wow, what endurance, and in the end the reward. A piece of art, second to none.
I don't think words can do justice to the uniqueness and beauty of this.
Congratulation to completing a masterpiece!

That is gorgeous! I have a bunch of cow skulls here and have been wanting to cover them with poly clay, but then wasn't sure what else to do with them. Really gorgeous!

thank you everyone!! I just listed it on Etsy.... nervous as all get out too. Dunno why I always get so nervous when I list something - it's like putting my heart out there, ya know? Roller, I am so flattered, thank you for that outstanding compliment and Beefy and Toad too Chinook, if you poly the skulls, be prepared for a very strong odor in your kitchen!! I had to put the entire skull into the oven to cure the clay - twice even!! From that point, the sky is the limit!! Just make ULTRA sure you have all the bubbles out before you cure the clay...ran into a tiny problem with that on this one, which is why the center piece has beads now LOL had to cover up the bubbles because they showed through the translucent clay
