I have been doing a lot of drilling (super boring) lately then adding the hanger upper thingies. I have been playing around with some beads that I inherited and would like to know what everyone thinks, good or bad. If ya'll do not like them then I know that they will not sell. So please be honest. jasper/agate?? and nephrite with silver beads Black agate and Montana agate with black agate beads jasper/agate?? Local agate Coral Brazilian agate and unknown local Montana agate with quartz crystals. I find a lot of this stuff. A mini geode made into a gnome house and a copper wrap Thanks for looking and any opinions. If you are familiar with the auto drill press for stones and gems I would appreciate any information Jim

Great work, very nice.
Question about the "danglies" - would they scuff up the surface of the stone over time where they are free to rub around and make contact? I know nothing but I wonder about this.
That last gnome wrap is very cool, very minimalist which I personally like a lot.

John - I never gave any thought about scuffing of the stone. Maybe I should set one up on something that vibrates and see what happens. I will probably hope for the best and offer a money back guarantee. lol
db - For me drilling seems to be the best way even though it does take some time. I have tried wrapping and it takes longer than drilling and I do not like it enough to get fast at it. I have a bunch of stones set aside to add glue on bails but most of my stones would not look right with a glue on or it would be impossible. I also do some grooving but that is also time consuming and will only work on a few of my stones. Not sure why but I do like the look of a drilled stone and I am thinking about buying one of the drill presses that will automatically drill the stone.
Thanks all for the comments. Jim

I don't like the dangly beads, but that doesn't mean they won't sell. Different strokes...

They are all pretty stones although I must admit I have a hard time figuring out what they would be dangling from. Maybe you could put some of them on key chains or something to give people an idea for how to display them. Just my two cents worth.

Hi Diane The stones are not nearly as big in person. They are displayed around the neck. lol Jim

Like the bead add-ons on most but don't put so many beads that you hide the main stone or you might as well take up beading instead. They look good but my preference is the gnome house because of the simplicity

I like these. My favorite is the nephrite. I think this idea would also work well with some of the tiny charms that are available, like a key or a heart, or whatever goes with the stone. Neat idea.
