Does groove wrapping fall into the catagory of wire wrapping? I had to get this done post hast as the sister-in-law's birthday is Friday. I'm not real crazy about how the top turned out. It' the fingers fault, they couldn't do what the brain was seeing! Next time! praise or criticism , all is welcome. thanks..........g

Hey, Gary,
Nice cab--the shape you chose is perfect for the markings, and a good, clean wrap shows it off the advantage. I'm not sure what you don't like about the bail--you must be seeing something I'm not seeing.

Neat! I really like your photography too. Excellent pic with little reflection or glare and it shows off your workmanship very well.....Mel

I'd say groove wraps would count as wire wraps. Looks good to me although the bail is a little big for the cab.

I like the stone a lot and the wrap looks good. I'm no wire wrapper, but to me it looks like you could roll the loop you have there down on itself creating 2 smaller loops perpendicular to the surface of the stone. It should look cool, be smaller, and allow the stone to lay flat better. It would be like a single iteration of a Prusik hitch, so you could bend it from what you have, versus having to re-do it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PrusikI may be able to draw what I am thinking, unless you see it in your mind's eye.

Looks good to me Gary. I agree - groove wraps count, too.

yup, groove warps count. that looks great. Just my opinion, but, I think the bail is a little too tall for the stone. Just my opinion though. What is that behind the wrap?
