Well all, you might have seen I had a custom order for a pear shaped blue tiger eye cab and had absolutely no luck finding a suitable piece. Sweet Donnie took pity on me and answered my cry for help She made this beautiful cabochon for me to wrap for my customer. Blue Tiger Eye wrapped in round Copper. What do you all think? - Krista

I really like the shape of that stone. Nice wrap, do you have any problems with the open loops catching on clothing and bending the wire out of shape? I like the look of the round wire you wrapped this one with.

Thanks Donnie Don, nope, I try and bend the end of each loop in ever so slightly so it doesn't catch on things. But there's always that person that isn't careful, or doesn't understand it is a _hand_made_piece_of_ art_ And yes, I've had to fix people's pendants/bracelets/earrings before, but not very often. In the over two years I've been selling I've made less than $50 on fixing pieces, I charge $10/hr for fixing stuff and if I have to work more than an hr to fix an already made piece I may as well re-wrap the thing. I do try my best to make them wearable, but on every certificate there is a portion where I talk a little about not abusing the jewelry, because it is just that, jewelry Krista

Wow, you two make a great team. That wrap is very elegant, and the cab really highlights the interesting pattern in that particular stone. Good work, really turned out a killer piece in the end
