My mother in law received a quartz crystal from her sister and asked if I could do anything with it, and I said "hell yeah". ;D I used a 1.25 inch thick slab of black agate (Brazil) as the base and added a piece of selenite, amethyst, and citrine, then made a puddle of 330 epoxy, sprinkled bits of 14k gold (filings from wire scraps) and let it harden. Once epoxy is dry, pour off the excess gold and add stick-on pen holder. This is the 4th one that I've made.......
