This was a pretty incredible log. It came in two sections and the larger half was less complete than the second section, so I cut it mostly into bookends. the material was some of the best I'd seen from Madagascar (I found a new miner importing it). I'll let the color play speak for itself. It doesn't take a lot of imagination to see why I called this stuff "flaming green". This is a large set, about a foot high.

That really is a magnificent set! I'm a total sucker for green, and the pattern there is just stunning. Peeked at the site, and was swooning, too! (The green one I instantly fell in love with there was already sold, but wow... going to definitely be keeping an eye on upcoming postings!)

Very beautiful!! Wood there be lots of this material out there? I bought about two tons of it from the same miner I bought this lot from. A couple of them should be this colorful, but that flame like scene is going to be hard to recreate! I do have some scraps left over from cutting this stuff though. I'm not sure the yield on the scraps would be worth the weight to ship them, but if anyone wants to try...

Incredible colors indeed. The color combinations remind me about Morissonite.
