Here's a quick pic I took of my mother's share of the arrowheads my grandpa found working their farm in rural east central Wisconsin. The farm was a few miles east of Fremont. Look to be mostly chert, with a few quartzite, and the dark one I think is some type of agate. I put a half dollar in the pic for size reference. Thanks for looking, Nate

Thanks Ed. My grandpa passed away when I was 7 or 8, so I never really knew him. I often wonder how he felt when he saw these in the fields. Must have been exciting, he had quite a collection. They were split between my mom and her 4 brothers and sisters.

I have not hounded the area, Ed. The niagra escarpment runs just east of there if I'm correct, so there may have been chert nodules in the limestone they could use. My grandparents had a dairy farm, and he found these working the fields. I do not know where they were originally made.
