This is my second attempt with wrapping. The stone is mara mamba and was one of the first cabs I did on the wheels last fall. It was problematic from the start, being an uneven end cut that I tried to level out and cab. The cab itself came out twisted but I still like the design of it and figured it would be a good practice stone for wrapping if I ever got that far. So here it is: Problem with the back is that the knot at the top sticks out a bit and might not be the most comfortable to wear. I didn't want to go with swirlies on this though because the design in the stone is so angular. I didn't want to take away from that. Wire is 20 g. bronze half hard square with that brass wire of my dad's. (I'm going to have to find more of that stuff!) Thanks! Cathy

I think that's a fantastic wrap! Beautiful stone too! One suggestion - tuck in the end of the binding wrap up top of the bail so it doesn't poke or catch on clothing.

That cab has great color and design to it I think you wrapped it very nicely, is that a knot of some sort up in front of the bail? It's really lovely. Krista

What Nate said, tucking the end usually helps. Great wrap and cab.

Nice!! Have you tried half-round for bindings yet? If not, you'd like working with it. Awesome job on the pendant!
