That when ya got done, you look at it and say, naaahhhh, that's not it! And, as I sit staring at it, I haven't the foggiest notion of how I want it to look!!! Oh well, eventually I will re do it,lol! Regardless, the piece is fantastic. I won it in a drawing at the recent meeting of the rock and gem club, made this for the wife.   ooops, it is abalone shell. Thanks for looking, and, even though the wraps don't always work out right, they are still satisfying to make, ain't they!? Mike |

Well, thank you all!! Ok, then I think I will leave it as is, plus the wife likes it pretty good too! I tell ya, that shell is really really colorful, I love it! Still, something about it just...... lol!!

To me, it looks fine, but I know just exactly what you're saying. When I get one like that I wait til morning before I pass final judgement on it. Usually I am fine with it by then. Plus, I believe that what I do is done for a purpose & there is someone who will like it & eventually will meet up with it.
