After seeing all the beautiful wraps here, and reading the tutorial I decided to try some myself. I finally finished three. I have the procedure down now, all I have to do is work on technique and get my wires straight and tight. Now that I have my new tumbler I will be doing this much more! The two stones on the left I cut, ground and polished myself. The one on the right was a cheap one I bought for my first attempt. Thom

They're great! Love the two left cabs...actually the middle one the most! Keep working it, you've got some great stuff happening!

Great job!! That first cab is sweet, and the wire goes with it nicely. You got the technique down and the swirls flow perfectly. Now ya gotta keep doing them. The more you do, the better you'll get

I try not to get in too big of a hurry. Ha! Thanks for doing that tutorial. Do you ever use plastic coated tools?

Do you ever use plastic coated tools? Naaa, I've always used bare metal. You can do wire wraps with bare metal and not get a single mark on the wire but ya gotta practice.

That stone on the left is beautiful, and all the wraps are great! You really do have the swirls down perfectly. Those are what I fuss with the most. Jean

You've gotten your feet good and wet now. Keep doing more and whatever happens, don't let anything stop you. Jo

The one on the left is a plume agate, but I don't remember what kind. I am just now getting back into cutting and polishing rocks. As it has been noted in this thread, I have been away for about 4 years or so. Thanks for the encouragement, and I will be looking for your work!
