A few months ago our pebble pups group at the rock club taught the kids how to make simple gem trees. My kids liked the idea and have made around 6 of them now. Heres a few pictures Thanks for looking Chuck

scott, they cant be too hard to learn. We had a lady teach 10 kids how to do them in an hour and a helf meeting. The only tool required was a regular dop stick with a hook screwed into one end.

They're all great, but my favorite is the second one.

They are good little arborists. The trees are great! The last one is my favorite. Jo

I like those too. I really wish we had a club around here so we'd have someone to teach us stuff like that.

yep, E6000 glue holds them on. I'll check with my son to see if he thinks its possible to do a tutorial of at least the basics.

Great job! I love the bases, as well, and the fallen leaves. My first one was a disaster--
There's a great tutorial that was posted on here maybe a year or so ago, if you can find it. There's also a little book called "Gem Tree Sculptures." I think I found it on Amazon.

That's the one! What a great job she did, and she made it irresistable to me as well.
