The area I went last weekend was covered with agate and jaspers. There is manganese mined around the area and a lot of the agate was black. There were varying colors from transparent, through grays and blues - many heavy with dendrites - and some jet black. There is apparently barium in some areas as well, lending some blue to the agates. A lot of it was botroidal. I haven't cleaned these yet, some of them are fairly dirty, but this is maybe 25% of what I collected: 1 2 - check this edge, heavy with dendrites: 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 - dirty, but pretty white underneath, botroidal side 11 - pretty - waxy - botroidal side 12 - same as 11, opposite side 13 - pretty, lacy - white 14 - more white 15 -blue 16 17 18 19 - one of my favorites on the right - black with apparent layering 20 - larger chunks - sitting on my truck box (diamond plate pattern for size reference) Thanks for looking

It's so fun to actually find pretty rocks! What a good load! Looks like you cleaned out the blue and white area!

Looks like you are going to end up like me with way too many rocks. I am about to the point of hauling a load back when I go hounding.
The layering is my favorite also. I only find yellow here. Jim

There is a lot of potential in that haul. Way to go!
