Well I had a busy day today. I hit a cool garage sale and picked up some new material I had never seen nor heard of - Royal Sahara Jasper. I got some other goodies as erroll, posted more info under the general rock board. Well I came home and started organizing a bit, and while I did I fired up the slab saw and cut some Mooka Jasper I had been meaning to get to for a while. daharsh.net/s/Mook Jasper.jpg[/img] I also decided to slab one of the chunks of Royal Sahara and man was I glad I did. daharsh.net/s/Royal Sahara Jasper.jpg[/img] I can't wait to cab this, but it will have to wait a month or so as we are going to be traveling.

Hmm, well now I am curious. Whatever it is I really like it. I'll bark up tue imperial tree and see what that yields.
She initially told me imperial, then went to her notebook and said it was royal sahara.

Yep, agree with Daniel. regardless what it is, it looks like you got several keepers in there and one or two in the super-class. So congrats!

so i can't prove it, but this definitely looks more like imperial jasper than it does like royal sahara jasper.
