Last week I finished my last batch for a while because I am heading out of town. Rob asked what I do with all my tumbled rocks as I generate quite a bit. We went camping this weekend and met up with lots of cousins (I'll post trip pics elsewhere) I gave them each a small snack bag and told them they could keep whatever they wanted as long as it fit in the bag and the bag could close all the way (thinking maybe this would keep them from being dumped all over the cars on the way home) My stash was significantly reduced. I will be taking them with me on my road trip tomorrow and am pretty optimistic that they will be gone or nearly gone by the time we are home. Everyone got in on the fun, moms, grandma and a bunch of cousins.

That was very nice of you! Hopefully it will spark an interest in some of the young ones.

a fun aside was that in town many shops were selling tumbled stones for like $5/bag or 25-35 cents each and they couldn't touch my shine thanks to RTH!

By the smiles on their faces it sure looks like the critics are pleased. Must've felt great to see their delight, John. WTG! Jo

Way to go, John; very gracious of you! That's a great way to get kids interested in the physical sciences. Looks like you had a great time.
