This is my first attempt at a groove wrap. It's fun when you start with raw material: slab, cab, grove and wrap. The wire wasn't quite long enough to handle properly and I put a bend in it. If I can't straighten it out I am gonna start all over with fresh wire. Is this picture jasper? Thanks for looking! Karock

that's a really nice picture you found there:<)) It looks very symetrical and well finished, and the wrap for a first effort turned out well. You'll find your own feel and look over time. good job, cant help with the id but it is a picture jasper and a common one but I don't know the name.

Beautiful little cab there and the wrap is great! Excellent job!!! Some of our Westerners might be able to give you a positive ID with the stone. Yes, it's definitely picture jasper.

Wish my first groove wrap looked that nice. What's even more fun is hounding your own material.

Super first try. I think it looks great. And I am with Larry, hounding beats it all. That is why I have tons of rock and about a thousand pieces in the "do next" pile. Jim
