I woke up with this wrap on my mind the other night. A couple days later I was given this Jasper slab by a street vendor after I bought a few others , and I then knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. He didn't know the origin or name of this jasper. Any suggestions? Thanks for looking Hub Attachments:

Wonderful wrap--I really like it and it sure suits the stone.
I don't know what it is, but I bought a slab from the rock shop in Ellensberg,WA that was identified simply as "jasper from Goldendale, WA" that had similar colors in it. The stuff was extremely variable in color, but had large patches of that deep red/maroon.

STELLAR!!!!! OMG_ I LOVE IT!!! Good thing to listened to that little nagging design voice in the back of your mind. This is awesome!
Can't help with the rock, though. Great looking cab, but I don't know what it is.

Love the piece! Has a really cool industrial look to it! I know that stone but not what it is. One of my grandpa's rings is real similar! Let me know if you get it!

Awesome design. I think it looks very western and the cowgirls would buy a ton of those. Jim

You come up with some really creative wraps:)!
Quick question... is that set in a bezel, or is that a groove wrap? I ask because you obviously soldered the stirrup attachments...

Hi Helen, yes cab is grooved drilled the stirrup,(that's a good name for it) and ran the wire through holes in stirrup, the cab will actually go around in circles. no solder, wanted to torch the beads on to the wire, but that got the rest of the piece too hot so just put on some copper beads. Thanks you guys ..... Hub
