Ok, I'm trying to buy a thing on amazon but I don't know what it's called.
I have a rotary tool accessory whose shank (mandrel?) is too small for my dremel. (Mine only takes down to 1/8", this is slightly smaller, probably 3/32").
I'm looking for a conversion thingymabob to allow me to use that mandrel in my dremel, and I'm sure Amazon has it, but I don't know what it's called.
Thanks!

They have a thing called a chuck that will adjust from nothing up to at least one eighth. With a collet you have to change them for every size. The chuck is the same thing as what is on a drill press and they work great. Jim

The keyless chuck doesn't need collets. If you have one you are all set. They hand tighten without a wrench.

Yeah. So I will probably use the keyless chuck for most things. I think. I need to buy a tackle box for all the pieces that go with this thing!

Susan, I also have a Dremel chuck as Jim described. Much easier and quicker. About $10 at Home Depot.

colletes will take a little more time to change mandrels in and out then the Keyless Chuck, but they will run true. the chuck is probably not perfectly balanced so it will have a vibration to it
