It is called "Sonora Dendritic". I purchased some slabs of it when I was in Quartzsite last January. I think it comes from somewhere in Arizona?

The sonoran dendritic I have came from Mexico...love the stuff. Also the the damascus blade on this knife. Stunning combination!

What type of glue/epoxy/adhesive do you use to adhere the scales? Thanks, Scott

I used Epoxy 330. If you look closely, you can see that I drilled and pinned the stone using brass rods as well. Where possible, I like to use pins so that I can exact fit the handles with little or no grinding or polishing after they are glued on.

Beautiful. They go so well together, the rock and the blade The bolsters also look to be made in the Damascus technique, right? Who made them and the blade?
