Here a few of the wraps I did while waiting to hear about my grand daughter. These are the ones I managed to get photographed. Cherry Creek Jasper 3 kinds of beads Oolite that I cabbed from rough from Susand24224 Dendritic Serpentine and beads Indian Paint Stone which I love and an experimental wrap that I'm not crazy about. It missed the mark.

i think red beads are fine, but they need to point down at the same angle as the lines in the stone. it might take a slightly oblong beed to achieve "pointing"

It is hard to believe that you did those at the hospital. You must have a travel case from hell. lol I am not to crazy about the red beads either because that is what caught my eye first. I do not think they are needed because the rest of the wrap is awesome as are the others. Jim

Those are all great. I like the red beads. It adds a little color to a mostly brown tone piece.

They're all great, but I really love the Cherry Creek. It's the bomb... Deb

Thanks everyone Especially THANK YOU for being honest. I know there are problems with the Indian Paint and was hoping for some input. I think Daniel nailed it. If the beads were more pointy it would work better. The beads themselves aren't so red in person- they are red jasper. My measurements were a little off, too. I LOVE the curve on the left, but it is too much for this piece, I think. This was an experimental piece- more to try a few techniques than for a finished piece. I'm really happy to hear your opinions ;D

I really like the way you wrapped the second cab! Next I like the 4th one. I do think that black beads would do the trick on that one. All look great but I like those two best.

It's always a pleasure to see your work. I especially like the use of seed beads in the first one.

Love them all...but would have liked the wire running in a straight line instead of curved...in keeping with the pattern of the rock :-)
