Did a different style this time on a Serape Jasper piece that I was not to fond of. Used. hammered and round 16 ga. copper wanted to dress it up a little. Attachments:

I think it looks a little unbalanced, but I *really* like the tail.

I like the detail concept, but not with this cab. dangles are so hard to get just right. most I see end up detracting.

Hub, I really like the bottom. I think the bail needs more height and bulk to balance though. This is a really great wrap that can only get better. What if you wrapped in another wire at the bail that had the same hammered leaf end. It could hang just below the bail- the rest of the wire could be part of the bail. I often use cabs that I am not crazy about to try out new ideas on. I have one in particular that I have wrapped at least a dozen different times.

I like the tails, very cool! Like Tela said, the bail could be a little higher but I like the overall design.

I think it's really well done but would love to see it with the bail adjustment too!

Cool design, ditto on the bail!
maybe wrap the new bail with an extra wire with the same pattern as the dangles but not as long

Frog, you got it! Hub, I'd say what needs to happen is balance. Two things are throwing this off for me. The stone itself needs to be resolved to the leaves because there really isn't anything in the stone to pair it with them. By bringing the leaves down from the top and having them kind of dangle over the stone, you pull the two together Also extending the bail balances the dangle on the bottom. Great elements here but they aren't working together yet for me. Hope that makes sense...
