Hi Randy,
Thanks. I use a light box and a couple of side lights. I set the camera to manual and bracket the exposure several steps (plus and minus). Some are too dark, some are too light, but one will be just right! Works for me, but I've seen lots of examples on here that are much better. My method tends to have those "hot spots" on either side. Perhaps a filter over the side lights would help?

man talk about serendipitous! I literally had another window open oggling at willow creek jasper and tabbed to RTH and saw your post!
I have never seen this chocolate variety and it is lovely.
I must say those are some of the most striking wraps I've seen. Thank you for posting!

Really like the W C but, more that that, I've always admired your wrapping style. Very clean and unobstructive the of the stones. Very nice pieces!
