I have access to some private property where I've been collecting old pottery shards. Any interest in wire wrapping them? I can clean up the edges.

I've seen people do it before to great effect. I think it would have to depend on what the shards look like and maybe whether or not they had an interesting history.

Make sure you have all the information necessary to comply with the government regulations regarding the sale and trade of privately collected indian artifacts.

Don, Not a problem. These are totally legal, and I've even got a few pueblo friends that approved collecting where I do. No special significance to these, they are from common everyday pots and etc that broke during firing. Pretty, all have lines or stripes or whatever on them.

Are you trying to sell these? If they have good graphics I may be interested - depending on price - no need to do anything to the edges, will do that myself.

Like Gerard asked, are you trying to sell these pieces or are you trying to commission someone to wrap them for you? I'd be interested in wrapping for you, but probably not just buying, I don't know that there's a market where I'm at for it. Krista

I'm not trying to sell them. Looking for some one to do a simple wrap in return for some shards.

I would love to help you out. I do have an interest in wrapping some shards, I have seen it done and where I live I think that I could sell some of these.
