Is there a resource thread? I admit I didn't search all the threads.
Most of you probably know these guys:
johnsonbrotherslapidary.com/
They are ten min.s from my house. They have budget to commercial/professional quality, accounts and are good people.
they resurface novas and galaxie wheels for a fair price, I have used the resurfaced, and I can assure you they work great. (though I will probably be recoating my own wheels within the month)

Yep the home of the cheapy import. Only my harbor freight grinder has worked for the past ten years, doing ABUSIVE grinding. My milwaulkee burned out doing lightweight grinding when I weld. I have a lincoln ac/dc tombstone, but for "tack" welding a flux core 99 dollar Harbor frieght mig. its as no frills as it gets, it only has 20%duty on high, but for tack? it is WAY convienient, and hey, it paid for itself a few times over. Modified H.F. mini lathe, power snake... Stay away from the hand tools though.
ANY way! type in "diamond accessories" or "lapidary products" harbor frieght can sometimes CYA in a pinch.
I burn through mini diamond disks like they are ritz crackers, and the diamond point set does the NO-NO stuff my good points don't touch... ;D
