These are some tumbles from late 2011. As I was taking them out of the polish stage I started noticing these long thin saw trimings and I thought hey, these might make an interesting neckless one day. Well, today was the day! Thanks for lookin.........g

pretty cool looking!
make sure it does not hang too far down as you can get your teeth knocked out if you bend down

I always worry about long necklaces because as I look at them it appears that I am examining someone's cleavage, which can also be a cause of teeth getting knocked out.
Nice looking piece though!

Gary, I've been looking at a collection of tumbled saw trimmings for quite awhile now wondering what to do with them. Great idea!

I gues you could do what I do John; ask if you can look at them; the stones that is, or just take a chance and reach in and pull them out for a better look; the stones that is!!! ;D ;D

Yeah I've taken to asking after being "busted" (no pun intended).

Is it heavy? Removing some of the chain and maybe some stones would lighten it up. You've a good thing going there.

Pat, no, it's not heavy. After looking at the stones in the picture, they look pretty big and they aren't. The piece of crazylace next to the amethyst is only 1-5/8" long and the neckless is on an 8" bust as opposed to what looks to me ,in the pic, like a 12' bust. I do need to shorten the chain by 2" or so. My wife tried it on this morning and she said that the weight is not an issue. She might let me post a pic of her wearing it for poportions. Thanks for the comments

OHHHHH! This is what it looks like outside of the wrapping and cabbing sections! I like the grading of the sizes and the color layout in this! Very fun piece!
