I braved the rainy but warm (45 degrees) weather here in Michigan and went to my favorite spot in South Haven on Lake Michigan to to a little hunting. The beach was jammed with ice for about 100 yards, but the exposed rocks were wet and the good ones were easy to spot. I found this large 20+ pounder with a large chunk of Petoskey in it and some other fossil rock. It's a beauty I think and will make a nice couple spheres! Wow, that's one big petosky rock!! Enjoyed seeing the materials you, Ryan, and Miss Lucy found. Very nice pics, and it sure looks cold and slippery out there. Glad you brought an extra set of clothes, too! Hope your knee is alright.
