So Mike(fossilman) brought over a couple more baculites fer me too cut Shrek is ready too cut  This ones yers Mike   2nd one kewl crystal pocket in 2nd  Can still see some Mother of Pearl  Later Clyde |

out of curiosity, what was the size of that piece before cutting??
Where do one find stuff like that... I heard it is in Alberta only.. or am I mistaken?

The stuff I gave Clyde was about 4 or 5 inches long and maybe three inches deep.... I find all my baculites in Central Montana(my home area) and a guy can find them in western South Dakota too........ I collect them all when I find them,large,medium,small,it doesn't matter to me..... Was thinking off snoping in my pile of baculites today,just to see what I have,that I have forgotten about! |
