Not sure if this is the right section, please feel free to move it if necessary. Anyways........ I took my cabbing classes and learned to make cabs with help from everyone here. The next step was to take a wire wrap class to see different techniques, which I finally got a chance to do last thursday night. I had some material to study before I went and with the handouts they gave was able to wrap a coin and make a bracelet. Taking this knowledge I was able to wrap a piece I would not have tried to wrap before the class. But I had some help from here too. What does all this have to do with Tela you ask ?? Very simple. My material to hep me prep for the class; Still not getting it ?? Thank You Tela, this has been a huge help in understanding wire wraps. Their technique is very similar to yours and I was able to pick up what they were talking about with ease!!!! And this was the end result, I took what they taught and what Tela wrote and made this: Thank You to all the people here for all your support as I have muddled through the learning curve and thank you to Tela for putting this out so that I could move forward with more ease than without it!!!! Hope you like it... Mario

Super wrap! You took the shape and really worked out a composition with it. It looks like a gift wrapped present. I love the "bow" on the top. I'm really, really happy that my book was some help to you. I'm also glad that you looked at different ways to wrap and put them together to do your own thing. As I say in the book, there's lots of ways of doing this, you just have to find what's right for you. You're off to a long and happy addiction, I can tell. Thanks for the shout out, too. It was a great way to start my morning.

It looks even better in person.. its not copper actually, but Bronze which I thought would show color better as it is lighter colored than copper... unfortunately the camera didn't show it as well. Tela, I have been an admirer of your work since I joined and first saw it!! Her Tutorial is on her Etsy page and I recommend it to anyone who wants to gain some insight on her wrapping as well as info on wrapping in general. It's definitely a good move when learning or just reading material for those who have been at this awhile and might be looking for a fresh perspective to helpp re0-kick start their passion for wrapping!!!!
Thank you all for your comments....and thank you Tela, for helping me to achieve them!!

Thanks, Mario I just had to add that my book is no longer for sale anywhere. People are emailing and messaging me for it until I put it up for sale somewhere. I can sell it person to person before then.
