Did some fossil hunting in Montana last summer..There is one place I usually hit when I get tired of walking..
It always proves to be a hot spot for thumbnail fossils..
You just sit on your butt and look...........(This is where I take kids to hunt fossils,they always find something and its easy for them...)

Scaphites.....(all raw,need to be finished)..

Gastropod...

Then once in a great while,you will find one of these.....
