Hi Guys! GR is posting for me because, as he said, my photo bucket is full and I don't have the time right now to clean it out... which is why I haven't been posting lately, lol! John, I'm using Epoxy 330 on these and it seems to be doing great! I've been working with GR this summer getting ready for this series of shows at Bethel Woods and he really has been wonderful to learn with!!!! This will be my last show of this series but I will be showing again in November and want to have a lot more of these done for that show! It's really been a great experience for me doing this because I've gotten a lot of feedback on how people view my work and it's really made a change in how I view it as well and how I want to present it to the public. Anyway, it's been a great experience and a growing one and something I would encourage people to try to do!!!! Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures up of the show over the next few weeks but I'm going to need a couple of nights off in here to catch my breath after tomorrow... Anyway, it's after 11 here and I need to be up at 5 for the show so I've got to hit the hay! Will catch you guys later!!!

Cathy, You will do great at the show! You don't have to clean out your photobucket, you just have to make a new folder within your photobucket account and then use that one, you will get a new quota. I am on my 4th folder now.
Gary, you are a great friend to have.
Those are all so cool it is hard to pick a favorite, the oval is superb though.

Wow Cathy those are freaking marvelous ! Great crafting and production. Glad to hear the show is going well what an experience ! I'd say you can quit your day job but when you got two good things going on why ? so you'll just be able to retire early and rock the rest of your days away..mostly

Hey Guys! I made it through the series and I'm still standing!!!! Ed!!!!!! It's September!!!!!!! ))) I'm seeing a new heart on you, are you back to the grind? Tony, thanks and I'm going to give it a try tonight so you guys can see the display. A lot of competition at the shows and when I wasn't showing through this, I was working to be able to keep up. Gary coached me through all of it and really kept my brain in check with all of this. It really was a wonderful experience doing this and I've learned so much!!! I put the intarsias out and the Biggs sold. The intarsias really set my work apart from all of the other jewelers and people loved them!!!! I had a real progression of work shown... everything from tumbled seashells and beach stones and rocks to the intarsias with prices ranging from $5-$175 and people really appreciated that!!! What I found is that if people couldn't afford the more expensive pieces, they came back to buy something anyway... whatever they could because they wanted to have something and were trying to support me. The other jewelers, and there were a lot of them, did not fair so well. I priced fairly and no one questioned what I was asking for anything. My biggest sellers were tumbled beach stones and clam shells that I cut up and tumbled but what people seemed to appreciate the most was just looking at my work... and they spent hours doing so. They were amazed by the picture stones and enjoyed looking through the cases and talking about each one.... and they just kept coming back to look and talk about them. Really a lot of fun!!!! Anyway, I've got to get ready for work, here! Will try to get some of the pictures up tonight! Tony, I may come crying to you for help on this! LOL! Catch you guys later!!! -Cathy
