I figured it had been so long since I posted anything, I needed to get the camera out and take a few pictures.
Some of these sets are grove wrapped and others are just glue on mounts or in settings. All the wire wraps I gave out at Christmas I completely forgot to take pictures...
This first set is Dendritic Onyx. I got the slab from Clint.

This one is from an imperial jasper slab. I set it with some glass and metal beads. I will be sending it to my future daughter in law.

This is an Angelite set. I got the slab from Blairrock. I was very happy with the shine I got since it is so soft.This set will go to my youngest sister. I am pretty sure it will match her eyes exactly.

This set is from a gift slab from Beef I think. Finally got around to finishing the cabs. Think I will keep this set.

I bought some rough of chrisopraise a year or so ago. I have cut a bunch of slabs and this is only the second set I have finished out of this material. I think I will send this to my older sister.

This is a set of Owyhee. I can't remember who I got the slab from but it was someone on this board.

This is a set of Mahogany Obsidian. No matter how hard I try, I have had to accept that my rounds are never quite round. Oh well...

Last but not least, this is some purple burro creek. This picture does not do the stone justice at all!

I first had to find where I had left my camera and then figure out how to upload to photobucket again. Seems, every time I use them, they change how to do it. Guess that means I need to do it more often...

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
