This is big chunks that is common in the river. It is a very high grade silicification. But not so colorful. Chips like obsidian Brown coating is from heat Nice long thin chips is desirable Some color Top side Bottom Tubes very visible. Outside texture like this often yields polyp patterns on the inside, top side. The other side. This is at least two corals attached together. The right side is white silicification and the left is brownish. Big for the 18" saw Some color for good measure Cut with the tubes. Tubes very small in diameter. Maybe a different species.

More nice coral, James. Any cut from those thin blades?
More pineapple, I like these.
Nice to look at, but they smell like kerosene, lol! And no, I would NOT take a bite, James.

No cuts. You barely tap that heated stuff and those come off. How is the blister doing?
Did you notice the odiferous ness ?

The blood blister part peeled off yesterday, now I just have a 1/4" diameter hole in the first layer of skin. Do you want a picture?
Yes, kerosene has an odor that you cannot hide. I even soaked the coral cabs I sent to you in cleaner/degreaser, and I think you could still smell it!
But I think James likes it!

jamesp every specimen wearing glasses has a face behind those glasses! Then I automatically anthropomorphize all of them. I gotta quit doing that! At any rate, your coral is always a pleasure to see.

I love this word since i cannot begin to say it. You being the seasoned artist would have picked up that word at some high end art show/gallery. Could i be right?
I sawed one today that has insane color and markings. I can't remember where i found the darn thing.LOL.
I looked it up. And it is way simple than it looks. Thanks for the new word to abuse.
anthropomorphism [an′t̸hrə pō′ môr′fiz′əm, -pə-]noun The definition of anthropomorphism is the act of giving the characteristics of humans to an animal, a god or an inanimate thing. An example of anthropomorphism is the creation of Mickey Mouse who is given the ability to sing and dance though mice do not possess that capability.

I don't go to high end anything, and have found most art shows .... generic --- most, not all.
Happy to contribute to your stash of words to abuse! : )
