I had a steady stream of packages arrive yesterday. Got my torch YAY! and a slew of tools. Still waiting on the Foredom I solved my bench pin problem. I remembered that I had a butcher block top table sitting on the porch. I had a lot of slabs on it. I ordered new shelves for rocks on the porch and brought that butcher block top inside. It's just the right thickness for a pin holder and the height of the table is better for sawing. In fact, I did a test saw with my new saw (the old one didn't hold the sawblade perfectly vertical)and it was fantastic! I had struggled before. DH got me a tank of gas yesterday, so today I will be firing up the new Handi Heet. I'm a little scared of setting it all up and for no good reason- it was the oxygen I used to use that was to be more feared.

When i was turning in my receipts for taxes the accountant did not believe my tool expenditures when building this farm.

Don't have so much fun that we never hear from you again! She will go into tool overdose. And hide out in the cave, not to come out till she has become master of those tools.

Not tool overdose- torch overdose LOL!
It's the weekend... the kids are cooped up in the house, bouncing off walls and fighting. Hard to be serious about getting my torch up and running, but I'm getting it done in dibs and dabs. We aren't used to snow being on the ground for so long. They went to school one and half days last week. That means Grandma doesn't get much done.
