These are 2 pendants made for our local winter fest. There are about 300 artists taking place but not many in the lapidary/MS field. Please excuse the crap images I took them the morning that I had to turn them in. Thanks for looking. The pair: My latest prong setting, I think I am going to try round wire for prongs, not half round?? This is more Flint Ridge Flint from Toad and is a perfect piece for where I live. The two blue lines look just like the confluence of the North and South Saskatchewan rivers just east of where I live:) Crazy lace:

Nice work, and good luck in the contest.
IMHO you would be better off sticking with half round for the prongs than going to full round. Half round sets much flatter on the stone and less likely to snag on things. There is also low dome wire you might try in the future. It is even flatter than half round and works very well for prong settings

Good luck! These are really great pieces, so I think you'll do well. I really love the flint- the piece, the shape and the stone.

The prong setting is fantastic and really shows off the stone. Best of luck!! What do they say here rather than 'Break a leg!'?? Break a geode?
