Very nice work! Why did you decide the only bail you would use on copper would be a solder-on bail after the fact?

Very nice work! Why did you decide the only bail you would use on copper would be a solder-on bail after the fact? Cause I don't want to run the risk of solder running everywhere. Of course, I could try using silver solder, I guess. The first time I tried to make this piece, the bezel join came undone when I tried to solder it to the backplate. Since it is copper, I just scrapped it and started fresh.

Looks great Tela. Copper is a pleasant metal to work with other than getting solder on it.

the shape, texture and colors balance very nicely. And great job on the cab. Thumbs up.

I have decided that the only bail going on copper is something that can be soldered on after the fact. Why not trim the bail as part of the base, then bend it into shape later on?

Your artistic eye and skill are very evident in all your work. If these are your first pieces I can only imagine the great stuff you'll be producing a year from now.
