I got this heart from Ed (ed mohs) out of the blue. It totally blew me away It is citrine and amethyst- The birthstones of my wife and I (nov/feb) Ed said the amethyst was slabbed by Brian and thought it came through shotgunner The citrine seemed to involve some type of quest at Quartzite to obtain- Ha It is gorgeous and one of the few things that my wife truly seemed to like and wasn't just being nice about it The pic is great - but as for most things posted on this board- it is even cooler in person To Ed : Thanks so much, it is a masterpiece with meaning as well Good Karma going out to you Bill

What a nice heart and what a nice story. And very appropriate I might add.

Thanks so much for posting and the heartfelt words Bill! I enjoyed crafting and it was a pleasure for a rock pal Birthstone hearts! That's what their all about. There are 144 combinations I'm going to be busy an extra set of hands-type busy well that's the only smilie they have with 2 hands wonder if it will help with the shape?

ONLY 144 combos...What if you did "mothers hearts" like a mother's ring with stones for mom, dad & all the kids in the middle? How many combos would that be?
