just checked my 33b. it only had one barrel on it. the barrel slid to the other side and the bottom was rubbing on that little white washer. it seems to have worn half way through the bottom of the barrel. looks like it was cut with a hole saw.

Wiz, Did you put the other barrel on the tumbler? It will keep the one from sliding to the end and rubbing on the washer. It won't matter if it's empty or not. If the one that rubbed on the washer is not leaking, I would think that it will be OK. I have a 33B. Guess I know now not to ever try running it with just one barrel! Barbara

If you are nervious about running the barrel I would get some Shoo-Goo clean the barrel and apply the goo where it is worn , let it dry for a couple of days and it will be good to go.

always keep the lids facing "out". I also add some oil to the washer part that rubs on that white peice - it eliminates the sound and reduces wear. Put some paper towel underneath for oil drips.

Ok, now I am freaking out...I finished a barrel yesterday and let the other one sit in the tumbler before I reloaded the one I removed. Now I am at work and can't check on it....I hope it is OK, after a slurry mess on the floor a few weeks again, my luck...I ruined the barrel!!!!
