Mokume Gane Half Dome Clip On Sterling back Earings This is a little different look for Mokume Gane. The three different metals are hammer forged. The larger pieces were trimmed and the trimmed pieces were laid on it’s side and run through the rolling mill. Discs were cut, domed then sterling was soldered on the back. It was something different for the material at hand. Enjoy Don

The laminations seem fused with no defects at all. Like the hardware on back too.

The laminations seem fused with no defects at all. Like the hardware on back too. The "hardware" on the back was soldered on with a small amount of very low temp solder. The ear clips have a sterling spring and if over heated they loose there tension and the clips are useless. Don
