This is a piece created through a joint effort between myself and another artist. It was partially inspired by my visit to Marble - link. The material is jade. Next up is some green Marble.

very cool piece. waterjet cut or hand carved? We use waterjet for intricate cuts in steel at my work but I often wondered what it would do with rock.

Chuck Waterjet is used in the granite counter biz. Imagine a light stone with a Fleur de list cut out then a black Fleur de list set in. You lucky to have that. Nice work rocksalot

Awesome work! I tried a little sculpting with Colorado alabaster years ago and let's just say my pieces were VERY basic/crude! Your sculpting tales it to another level! connrock
