It has been a long time since I posted here, but have lurked a few times over the years. It has been just as long since I created anything with rock, but never lost the passion. Thanks for always being here RTH crew!! I put this coral on a fixed blade boot knife as a Christmas present for my father. It came out decent for a guy who is starting over. Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas to you all! John
PS-These pics look way big. Hope I am not screwing this post all up.

Thank you very much JOhn. Always good to hear from you. Fossilman, Glad you like the fossil handle Mel, I wanted to make something unique and always liked the way that coral looks polished.

Thank you Dave! Coral is a favorite. Thank you also Jamesp, Spiritstone and you too bsky4463. I hope so Gingerbread. I think he will. Roy, I find riding a bike at my age to be more difficult to remember:) Adrian, Very good to hear your positive posting voice again. Will try to do better! The kids both started a 3 pound tumble batch at Thanksgiving. Should be done in a couple months. Thanks again all! John

Shotgunner, Thank you for compliment and interest. I bought the knife from Knifekits.com. I selected this one because it truly has been a couple years since I did any rock work and this knife look good and easy. It is 7.5 inches in overall length with a 2-5/8 inch blade. The blade thickness is .175 inches and 1 wide. Blade Steel: AUS8 stainless steel (RC = 56-58) heat Treated/cryo-Treated. Rockjunquie and Barclay thank you too for the compliments. Connrock and Kap, Nice to see you guys are still around. Thanks a million.
