Thank you they were very meticulous.it takes a lot to make my ole'man speechless.but there was at least a minute of silence when he took it all in.the hardest part was recessing out the back of the grip to accommodate that little lever thingy(sorry Mel)i must say though I owe a lot to this site for inspiration, and to always take it a step further than my last one.thank you all again Dave.

Very impressed. I passed on the ones I was thinking about doing because it looked like way too much work for what little I would get back. If they would have been for my dad I would have gone ahead and made them. Jim

Those are some handsome grips, @arrowheadave. Enjoyed reading about your dad's expression when he first saw what you made for him. Imagine he's still admiring them. Have you considered taking orders from people that would like to have them?

@arrowheadave, would you need to have the gun to make the grips? Cannot wait to see the fire opal ring your making for your gal for Valentines Day. Are you opening a store?

Those are surely sweet grips Dave! You should make a set of Labradorite for a steel colored gun like that. Maybe Nature's Treasures will resell some of your stuff too. You are really inspiring me to do more and more.

Gingerkid.i don't need the gun.my dad is a private dealer and collector.so coming up with a grip pattern is a cinch.my wife wants to open an etsy store or something similar.but I prefer doing work when I know it is sold.plus if I turn this into a money maker it then becomes a job and is no longer a hobby.but I will make something for anyone with $ in there pocket.and Rockroller I've been telling you to step up that game, now you have a lot of catching up to do.lol Thanks again every one Dave
