The writer did a great job explaining how to create cabochans. I also like the part that the writer could complete a couple of cabs in 3 hours. Makes rock tumbling seem really slowwwww. This message also reminded me, I keep meaning to go to the local rock and gem club and sign up.
They have a small shop that is open to members on the weekends. I think they charge a small fee to use their equipment.

hi all ------hey cal i wish i could find a place close like that with a shop and people who know what there doin just for the chance to see how its done, i think i learn better when i can see something being done first hand, plus you get to see someones short cuts---and what nots to do hahaha, im still workin on gettin an expandable drum when i bought one of my grinding wheels the guy threw in a box of assorted belts with the wheel so i got a start on them---seeya---john

Yeah John, thanks for the site. I think a lot of us are borderline cabaholics. I've been wanting to do some for quite a while, but still don't have the replacement diamond wheel I've been wanting for a long time. We'll have to start a cab thread in the photo section when we all get going. It doesn't look like it is too diffucult, and lots of fun trying. Thanks again, Don
