Thank you all so much The owl and horse are polymer clay cabs I made - made the molds from a hair barrette and a brooch , then painted the owl. I used alcohol inks to get the base of the horses then brushed with paint. Really they only take a lot of time because I get tired of sitting and my eyes cross after awhile lol! It is real relaxing though, soothing - well once I get the beading needle threaded. If y'all have a facebook , here is a link to the album that shows the process. This album is of the 2nd go at bead embroidery, shows the process from start to finish, the owl cab used in this piece is from Clay Jeannie , porcelain high fired clay. Owl necklace

Thank you - I love this so much. I can't paint, can't draw, so this is the next best thing for my inner artist

Welcome back to RTH, tclare! Your pieces are outstanding and thank you for sharing them. Have you worked with art clay silver?

Thank you No I haven't yet, I hope to at some point. Hubby has his disability hearing in October so hopefully, after that, I will be able to get back into doing what I love. With his not having income, we get only the barest of necessities for now.
