I've been quite busy with the commission work lately. Here's a cuff fabricated out of sterling silver with a stone cut from slab of Mexican flame agate.

Woah, that's gorgeous, Don! Salivary glands are about dehydrated after seeing your jewelry today. Is it flame agate in your other thread that you asked about treating?

Woah, that's gorgeous, Don! Salivary glands are about dehydrated after seeing your jewelry today. Is it flame agate in your other thread that you asked about treating? LOL thanks! Yes, but two different species. The one in the other thread was originally intended for this cuff, but I was so frustrated trying to get it to shine, I moved on and slabbed into a special piece old mexico flame agate rough I have been saving for a rainy day. It proved to be the correct decision...sigh...and I'll get several more cuts out of it. I'll have to dig out the opticon or something for that other stone...hextal I guess, but that stuff so so pricy...besides, I'm really not a fan of treated stones...might just stick with the mexico stuff.

That is one nicely executed piece of work. Someone is going to love wearing it.
