I don't see much smithing being done in copper on here. that was a treat. great post full of top quality pieces. I need to check out a wrap like this in person. I keep thinking that having 8 wires terminated in the back would be bulky or messy but I am sure they are not. are they linked together at all in back or just ending in staggered loops? Chuck

Hi chuck, the ends are bound with half round, tucked under the back framing wires and folded under themselves. It's all very neat and tidy.

Double-drool!! I love your 'sweat' shop creations, Don. OUTstanding craftsmanship! They are beautiful, but my faves are your carnelian pendant and Viking weave. I really like the undercarriage or gallery (?) (underneath the bezel) you created for your gorgeous lapis ring. Not sure what the correct term is for it?

It's not too difficult, just time consuming to weave all those stitches around and around and around and around and around and around and around...you get the idea

Thanks, Don! I don't know, but I think the shank is the band? It's the area that meets at the bezel and slopes back down. I circled it in your photo.

ROFL, Don, thanks. It sure looks like something is going on there underneath the bezel area. I feel like a fruitloop that it's a reflection, and my vision is worse that i thought.
