This fellow i know found these shells and this gear? Prehistoric doughnut? lol. They are all fossils, but I have no idea in the world WTH this thing is, and asked for help finding out anything I could if possible. Anyone here ever seen one before, and maybe have an Identification name for it. They are from Europe found in a river bed.

First one oyster of some sort. Second one appears to be a stone mace head, not uncommon in some areas. Or it could just be something that looks like a stone mace head *L*. N North America Amerinds used donut shaped weights on digging sticks too...Mel

Modified for sure, same thought I had. Thanks Guys. Stone Mace makes sense....for cracking open those large oysters. He found a few that large and intact. Only one of the Mace thinga-majiggers.

Looks very much like a Pacific Giant Clam Ahhh I see you caught onto something before I could add to this, after getting some more info. Sorry its not from Europe but from Rio Madre de dios river or tributary? in Peru. Mayan maybe? the artifact.

Hard to know... no records. My mom passed 2 years ago. Definitely weird. Her native father was a Longfeather. Complicated... the Band leaders that held records were murdered in the late 20's and the Longhouse burned. There is an historical record but only the white version... my mom was just a toddler!

Thunderstorm just came and went power went down. Brief but needed moisture. Let me have some time with this and I "might" is the key word, have a few answers regarding the last name Longfeather. From family here.

The mace I guess would be from the Inca era. It was cool stuff to see. Thanks, for the Florida clam link.
