The wire-wraps are amateur hour but it's a fun project to get some of my translucent tumbled stones out of bowls and into the light. I don't know how to get a good photo of them backlit. They're beautiful in person!

If you did a few more links you could make a curtain, or if they were a bit longer a door curtain like the beads ones from the 1970. Or was it 1960. I think it would look great in front of a window, to get more of the transparency look.

Very cool! I was thinking beaded curtain, too. Once, a very long time ago, I lived in base housing in an apt that was what we called "shit, shower and shave". It didn't even have a bathtub, just a tiny shower. The water heater was in the living room/kitchen area. Alongside the fridge was a spot just big enough for a tiny picnic table type table. So, I put a beaded curtain up between fridge and table to divide my kitchen/dining area. It actually worked real well and looked very nice.

wow when I was much younger we made curtains out of beer tabs, and chains from gum wrappers folded up, I think the rock idea is better.

I don't want to do a full bead curtain in the door because I think the wire would catch hair, feathers, etc. But I may move it into a window.

A very creative way to use up all those pesky little lenghts of chain at the end of the reel, I like it!
